Overview
The Hotel Tiduca is right on Ponta do Sol’s harbour and has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The hotel has five floors and the 130 smart en-suite rooms all have a balcony or terrace with either a mountain or ocean view. We highly recommend the ocean view rooms and although the hotel has A/C, why close your balcony door, when the hypnotic sound of waves rolling in can lull you to sleep.
The restaurant serves a la carte, or buffet style, international and Cape Verdean cuisine, prepared with locally sourced produce and of course freshly caught fish.
The roof terrace has a lounge bar, where you can have a relaxing drink, with beautiful views of the ocean at the front and impressive in the back. The hotel also has a fitness area with a solarium and massages can be arranged on request. There is free WIFI throughout the building.

Location
The fishing village of Ponta do Sol is a great base if you are interesting in walking and canyoning or if you want to relax on your balcony and watch the local fishermen return with their daily catch.
Activities
One of the best known walks of the island starts or finishes in Ponta do Sol - the coastal walk to Cruzinha, which can either be done on your own or with a guide. We can also organise canyoning trips.
