The exclusive King Fisher Village in Tarrafal on the island of Santiago is ideal for those in need of a luxurious break.
There’s safe sea swimming and snorkelling in the cove next to the resort. If you’d like some beach time then the King Fisher Village is within easy walking distance of Tarrafal’s wonderful golden sands, where each day locals gather to meet the fishermen with their early morning daily catch.
In the original buildings, the suites and double rooms all have private terraces with amazing views of a lovely small cove and the Atlantic beyond. With two bedrooms, the exclusive Seaview Suite is ideal for families or bigger parties, but even the smallest sea view double has a small fully fitted kitchen.
There are two newer blocks containing new rooms and the restaurant. Superior Sea View rooms have private balconies looking over the cove and restaurant area. Or there’s the Exclusive Sea View rooms whose private balconies immediately face the sea and are a romantic escape from the world.
Swiss chef Flavio is in charge of his onsite restaurant. Dining here on the sea front is a real sensory and culinary experience. Seated on the terrace surrounded by palms and right by the sea, fresh fish will always be on the menu as well as other delicious dishes prepared by sociable Flavio and his team. All diets are catered for here.
The village is self-sufficient with on-site renewable energy powering it’s own desalination plant to provide otherwise-scarce water to the resort. Nearby to the King Fisher Village is a great dive school where we can help arrange your snorkelling and diving trips.
